My Sweet Prince Surrounded in rose petals,
I awake to the memory of a beautiful face.
I am caught in a smile that creates an
unmeasurable glow.
Rumpled sheets wrapped around your legs
Provide me with the image of my sweet
Prince who lay Sleeping next to me.
The moon seems to be calling my name.
I gingerly walk over to the window,
Sliding the curtains aside. The celestial
glow captivates my spirit and I am lost
In a place I call my own.
As I close my eyes, I can imagine your
warmth surrounding me. It's a comfort I
know only with you. I open my eyes and find
that my thoughts have become a reality.
Arms wrapped around me, I lean back,
look into your eyes, And place a kiss softly on
your lips.
