Angel

Angel sent to me with wings of fire
You have renewed in me a new desire
Something deep has awakened in me
A new fire that has allowed me to see
Two souls eternally intertwined and united by a Divine hand
Casting rainbows in our hearts forever visible across the land
So let each precious new breath bear a steadfast heart
Let each new thought no longer tear you apart
The eternals above have bestowed a sweet grace
A gift I am certain each time our hearts must face
More than imagination you have taught me to trust
A faith forgotten by the world's own deceitful lust
But there is indeed much more happening way deep inside
Humble I remain to survive, praying I never revel in pride
So if I may be so bold, please lend me an ear.
If a dark thread of doubt should ever make us weak
A Divine breath will grant us the wisdom we seek
I shall lend you my fire to always keep your flame alight
As you have fanned my own desires to take up the fight
With the purest of love I hope to ever know
To a cold distant world, This love I must show
illuminated by the glowing light of the moon you hold my heart
Be always aware though far, no distance can ever keep us apart
